In October we were able to go outside a lot and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather. However as you can see we were surprised one day to get enough snow to build this little snow lady above. The kids also helped me whip up 4 batches of playdough. We used my favorite recipe from my friend Sue's preschool. It smells really good and the colors you get with Kool- Aid are fantastic!
KOOL-AID PLAYDOUGH
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 pkg. unsweetened Kool-Aid
1 cup water
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Cook over medium heat until mixture forms a ball. Pour onto waxed paper or a bread board and knead. (Add little bits of flour if you think your dough is too sticky). Store in airtight container. This will last for weeks and if a child happens to eat some no worry it's non-toxic.
